John, Marty, and Tom—three generations of Lenoci’s have practiced their craft in the Rutland area, starting with John who came to this country by himself as a 15 year-old . In his native Italy, John was a cobbler so it was a natural fit for him to take up his trade here, working in a shoe repair shop in Fair Haven. Later, John moved to Rutland and began working at the State Street Shoe Repair Shop and later at My Shoe Shop.

We can repair or replace any kind, any size, or any color zipper on nearly any article – luggage, coats, jackets, boots, pocket books, or vests.
Wallets, belts—if you can dream it up, we’ll take a crack at it.
* If you haven’t picked up your repair after 3-5 calls, we place it up for sale in our Second Hand Shoe Store.
Q. Why do you charge a deposit?
A. We are a small business and, believe it or not,many times people simply don’t bother to pick up their repairs, even after numerous calls. We need to at least be able to cover a part of our labor.
Q. What kinds of shoes can be repaired?
A. Nearly any shoe can be repaired although some shoes are simply too worn or damaged to make it worthwhile.
Q. Can Lenoci’s help me with my orthopaedic shoes?
A. Absolutely!. We carry or can get nearly any kind of orthopaedic shoe made. Some shoes may be covered under the terms of your insurance.
Q. Is there a discount if I’m a regular customer?
A. Yes. And to make it better, if you recommend us and they drop shoes off for repair, you will both qualify for a $5 discount on repairs of $30 or greater.
Q. Can you supply orthotics?
A. Yes. Our BalanceWorks company can build custom orthotics for nearly any application, activity, or sport.
Q. Do you repair belts or handbags?
A. Yes. We can repair almost any leather or synthetic leather item including replacing zippers in shoes, tents, motorcycle leathers, nearly anything that needs a new closure.
Q. Do you special order shoes?
A. Yes. If you’re looking for a particular shoe, we are happy to help you. Just ask.
Q. If I don’t pick up my repairs, what happens?
A. Repairs not picked up after we’ve been unsuccessful in contacting you will be put up for sale in our second-hand shoe area.
